My husband is allergic to chocolate, and peanut butter cookies are getting kind of old. Also, do you know of any websites devoted to chocolate-free recipes. (I've looked, I can't find any). What are some good dessert recipes without chocolate?

I would suggest fruit pies or cream pies like strawberry pie or coconut cream, yum. I also like to make a simple custard when I have alot of milk to use up, it's so good when its warm out of the oven. Bread pudding is also great when you need to use up bread and you can make a whiskey butter sauce to pour on it and its sooo good.

Ohmy gosh there are loads of desserts that dont involve chocolate. Whatever happened to ice cream.. sundaes/pavlovas/tiramisus (altered)/with jelly, or pies (fruit filled), cakes (fruit gateuas, fairy, cream buns), scones, gingerbread men...
Look online or get a cookbook there are plenty of cheap specialised ones out there.
I love strawberry short cake

Try cooking some ginger biscuits, but make sure you put the dough into the fridge for about 30 minutes before making into ginger rounds and cooking it.
For a proper dessert, Apple crumble and ice cream is just about everyones tipple but you could always vary this, I put half apple and half raspberries in , it is delicious.
Whenever I don't do a chocolate dessert, everybody usually likes it when I do banana's foster.
Slice up some bananas. In a pan, melt a little bit of butter. Add some brown sugar until it dissolves and starts to bubble. Then splash it with some brandy, being careful to not catch fire to everything. Add the bananas to heat through. Serve it warm over vanilla ice cream.
