Any delicious dessert recipes?

My grandma had her knee replaced and I want to make something delicious to cheer her up. and please mention if you've personally tried the recipe or not.Any delicious dessert recipes?
Your grandma is lucky to have you. Enjoy all the time you can with her. My grandma's not here any longer and I miss her terribly.





This recipe is easy and you're sure to impress with it. I've made it several times and it's really yummy!





Cherry Chewbilees (cheesecake)





Crust: 1 c. nuts, divided


1 录 c. flour


陆 c. brown sugar


陆 c. butter


陆 c. coconut





Filling:


2 - 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened


2/3 c. sugar


2 eggs


2 t. vanilla


1 or 2 cans cherry pie filling





Heat oven to 350掳. Grease 13x9 pan, set aside. Chop 陆 c. nuts coarsely for topping. Set aside. Chop remaining 陆 c. finely.





For crust: Combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter until fine crumbs form. Add 陆 c. finely chopped nuts and coconut. Mix well. Remove 陆 c. of mixture, set aside. Press remaining crumbs in bottom of pan. Bake at 350掳 for 12-15 minutes, until edges are lightly browned.





For filling: Beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla in bowl until smooth. Spread over hot baked crust. Return to oven. Bake 15 minutes (maybe longer).





Spread cherry pie filling over cheese layer. Combine reserved coarsely chopped nuts and reserved crumbs. Sprinkle evenly over cherries. Return to oven. Bake 15 minutes longer. Cool. Refrigerate several hours.Any delicious dessert recipes?
A recipe for the popular Coca-Cola cake, made with Coca-Cola and buttermilk and mini marshmallows.


Ingredients:


2 cups self-rising flour


2 cups sugar


3 tablespoons cocoa


1 cup Coca-Cola


1 cup butter


1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows


2 eggs, beaten


1/2 cup buttermilk


1 teaspoon baking soda


1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Frosting:


1/2 cup butter


1 tablespoon cocoa


6 tablespoons Coca-Cola


1 box confectioner's sugar, (1pound)


1/2 cup chopped pecans


Preparation:


Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan and set aside.


In a large bowl combine flour and sugar. In a saucpan combine the cocoa, Coca-Cola, butter, and marshmallows; bring to a boil. Combine the boiled mixture with the flour and sugar mixture.





In a separate bowl mix eggs, buttermilk, baking soda, and vanilla; add to the first mixture. Pour into prepared pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes, until cake tests done.





Frosting: In a saucepan, bring butter, cocoa, and Coca-Cola to a boil. Stir in the sugar and mix well. Stir in nuts. Spread over the cake while both cake and frosting are still warm.


Serves about 16.

EASY LEMON DESSERT





2 eggs, beaten


juice of 1 1/2 lemons


1 cup sugar


1 cup whipping cream


1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs





Combine ingredients and cook in a double boiler until thick. Allow to cool. Whip 1 cup cream. Fold into the lemon mixture.


Cover a shallow square glass pan with graham cracker crumbs, or alternatively, use a glass pie dish. Spread the lemon custard mixture on top.





Refrigerate until ready to serve. Cut into squares if a square pan was used, or wedges if served from a pie dish.





This recipe has been a Summertime favorite which has been in our family for over 60 years.





Variation: These can be served in custard cups for individual servings.

Tropical Fruit cake





makes 8-10 slices





150g unsalted butter, softened


150g castor sugar


2 eggs beaten


150g self raising flour


2 tablespoons coconunt cream


250g mixed ready to eat dreid tropical friut(chopped)


50g macadamia nuts, chopped





Preheat oven to 180c/gas mark 4. Grease and base line 450g loaf tin.





Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. gradually add eggs beating well after ecah addition. fold in the flour then stir coconut cream.





stir in dried fruits and nuts. Spoon mixture into prepared tin and level the surface.





Bake in the oven for about 45-50 mins. Cool in tin 5 mins or so and then turn out on wire rack .. Serve in slices %26amp; enjoy.

1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix


1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix


1 cup vegetable oil


4 eggs


1/2 cup hot water


1 cup sour cream


1 teaspoon vanilla extract


1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips





Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.


Combine cake mix, pudding mix, oil, eggs, water, sour cream, and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared pan.


Bake for 1 hour. Allow to cool.
