Are there any sites that have dessert recipes that also show you how to present the dish well?

I want to make desserts that taste good and look good. Are there any sites that have dessert recipes that also show you how to present the dish well?
Epicurious usually has photos that accompany the recipes.

Why not try the presentation on your own?

Basic design elements came from nature.

Circles

Symmetry

Angles

Rarely, if ever will you see a true straight line.

Overlap and fan fruit slices

Form swirls on the tops of puddings, glazes and cremes.

Use color and texture to your advantage.

The dish/container that contains the food is also part of the assembly.

Get some Ideas by looking at cake, confection, and pastry sites and then become an artiste. Are there any sites that have dessert recipes that also show you how to present the dish well?
check out http://sumiram2006.googlepages.com/desse鈥?/a>

It has recipes for quite a few tasty cakes and desserts that can be prepared easily from home ..
www.foodnetwork.com has great recipes and has videos...but only for certain recipes and they vary monthly.
This website has a picture of each dessert as well as the recipe.

Well.....

you could invest in one of these pretty dessert stands.......

or you can just arrange your desserts in an appealing fashion on top of an old mirror or piece of glass. I have used old marble tabletops, pieces of slate, large ceramic tiles, old microwave glass inserts.....you name it.

You can arrange your desserts in a straight line type of fashion, where you have one row of tarts then one row of cookies and so forth, or perhaps in a circular fashion, or even a spiral fashion. It depends on what you are using as a platter in how you want to arrange them.

Always keep in mind when you are arranging your desserts that while you want it to look appealing, that it is still easy for your guests to pick up the dessert and serve themselves without risking them accidentally touching other food in doing so.

Hope this helps.....cheers!
