Box Hostess Twinkies


1/2 cup strong coffee, cooled %26amp; sweetened


1/4 cup Kahlua (optional)


1/2 gallon coffee or coffee %26amp; chocolate ice cream


Chocolate shavings or sprinkles





Slice Twinkies in half lengthwise. Spray 9 x 5 loaf pan with cooking spray. Put five Twinkie halves, cream side up, side by side in pan. Mix coffee and Kahlua (optional); with pastry brush, apply liberally to cut side of Twinkies. Spoon about a 1/2 inch layer of softened ice cream over Twinkies. Repeat until you have used enough Twinkies %26amp; ice cream to fill the loaf pan. Cover tightly with foil and freeze several hours or overnight. This can be served from the pan in slices or unmolded, garnished with the chocolate and served. Serves about 10.Do you have any dessert Recipes using Twinkies or other Hostess cakes?
Chocolate Twinkie Smasher


Items Needed:





3 Hostess Twinkies


6 scoops of chocolate ice cream


6 chocolate cookies


DIRECTIONS: First, you must smash the Twinkies and chocolate cookies in a bowl. Next, scoop the ice cream into the bowl. Then, mix it all together. Voila!!





The best thing about this recipe is that it is fun for kids or adults to make!!

MINI NO-BAKE TWINKIE CHEESECAKES





6 Hostess庐 Twinkies


1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened


1/2 cup sugar


1 cup sour cream


1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling





Slice each Twinkie in half and then into thirds so each Twinkie yields 6 ';crusts';. Place one ';crust'; in the bottom of each mini-muffin tin.





Beat together cream cheese, sugar and sour cream. Spoon 1-2 tablespoons on top of each Twinkie ';crust';. Dollop with spoonful of cherry pie filling. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.





Makes 36 Mini Cheesecakes.
