Any good party dessert recipes?

I have to make puddings for a large party. Has anyone got any recipes for puddings I can make in advance (and possibly freeze) and transport easily by car?Any good party dessert recipes?
Eton Mess is lush and really easy. To transport it, just bung in a bowl and cover with clingfilm.

You will need:

Carton double cream

Strawberries and raspberries (about 3 punnets)

Meringue (about 10 of those individual ones)

Bash up the meringue into chunks (bite size - not too small)

Squash the fruit slightly to release a bit of juice but let them keep their shape.

Whip the cream until stiff and stir everything together slightly to get a marbled effect.Any good party dessert recipes?
My Mom's Famous Pudding Truffle!

1lb Pound Cake (cooled and cut into cubes- about the size of an ice cube))

1 box Instant Vanilla Pudding (already prepared, not the smallest size, get the next size up)

1 or 2 pints of Strawberries (depending on how many you want)

Whipped Cream (cool whip or canned, whatever you prefer)

Start off with a deep serving bowl and cover the bottom with some of the pound cake. Next, add a layer of the pudding, then top off with Strawberries. Keep layering until you run out of your ingredients and make sure the top layer is strawberries. Top with whipped cream and serve. Everyone loves it!

homemade icecream is perfect for this as you want to make it in advance, freeze it and then transport it (some time out of the freezer gives it a soft texture which is really nice). It can also be quick and easy. My partner is pregnant so wants to stay away from eggs, so I found a receipe for ice-cream which involves adding condensed milk to lightly wipped cream and a dash of vanilla.... it's really really good
Dirt Pudding

It uses pudding, crushed oreo, gummy worms, and a fake flower if you wish.
This is so easy and so YUMMY!! You can also do this on the barbecue as well. It can be made like a day in advance and if you keep them wrapped in foil they should keep fine. It is so easy it won't take long to put together, even kids can do this if you make the slit for them.

Take 1 banana per person, keep the skin ON.

Make a slit through the skin into the banana, running the whole length of the banana, but don't cut all the way though, a shallow slit should do.

Now, take 5 squares of chocolate per banana and push them into the slit so that they are half in and half out of the banana and skin.

Now wrap in foil and bake for about 15 minutes, the chocolate melts inside the banana and is delicious, you could add some rum for the adults. Any chocolate will do, this is also delicious with chocolate that has a runny caramel centre.

Let me know what you think!!!!!
What I found is a big hit is baking a sheet cake, vanilla is really good with this. Then I top the cake with cheesecake flavored pudding, strawberries, bananas and then top it with cool whip. It is so good!!! I like to mix the pudding with the cool whip before I put it on the cake if I want something ';lighter';. I made it one time and it was gone in 30 minutes. You can refridgerate it overnight and it is just fine. Or you can bake the cake, prepare the pudding and cut up the fruit at night, then just put it all together in the morning.
Go to the website Cooks.com....it's the best place to find any recipe you want. I use them all the time. They are free and you can print them out. If you ask for desserts, then hit puddings, you'll probably get 100 answers. It's alot of fun to go through there and print good recipes....good luck!
