Anybody have any good dessert recipes?

I love to cook for my family and after everybody finishes with the pound cake I baked recently I want to bake something sweeter and yummier.Anybody have any good dessert recipes?
---------------MOLTEN CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKES





陆 C. butter, unsalted


4 oz. bittersweet chocolate


2 eggs


2 egg yolks


录 C. sugar


2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour





Butter and flour custard cups or specialty molds. Preheat oven to 450潞F. Melt the butter and chocolate, but do not let it boil. Remove from heat and set aside. Beat together the 2 eggs plus 2 yolks and the sugar, until it's light and thick... about 5 minutes. Pour the now tepid chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, and beat to mix. Quickly beat in the flour until just mixed in. Pour into the custard cups. (At this point you can refrigerate for up to 24 hours. If you refrigerate, let return to room temp before you bake.) Put custard cups on a baking sheet and bake at 450潞F for 6-7 minutes. The outside will be set up, but the top may still be slightly wiggly. Invert on plate, let sit for 10 seconds or so, remove custard cup. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, and surround with a raspberry sauce or add a scoop of ice cream or real whipped cream on the side -- your choice.





-------------Luscious Lemon Cake





One purchased angel food cake, 1- 8 oz block of cream cheese, 1 tub lemon frosting, 1 %26amp; 1/2 c cool whip, 1 can lemon pie filling.





Slice the cake into 3 even horizontal layers.


In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and the pie filling until smooth. Spread half over the bottom layer of cake, place 2nd layer over that. Put remainder of filling atop layer 2., then replace top layer.


Beat the frosting and the cool whip until smooth, and frost entire cake.





--------------------Rhubarb Raspberry Cream Dessert recipe





Crust


1 cup Tillamook butter, softened


2 cups all-purpose flour


3 tablespoons powdered sugar





Filling


6 large eggs


2 cups granulated sugar


1 cup whole cream or half-and-half


4 tablespoons all- purpose flour


5 cups fresh diced young rhubarb


1 cup fresh raspberries





Meringue topping


6 large egg whites


3 tablespoons granulated sugar


1 tablespoon vanilla extract





Make crust: Mix butter, flour and sugar; press into large oblong glass cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.





Make filling: In the meantime, mix eggs, sugar, half-and-half, flour, and rhubarb until thoroughly blended. Fold in raspberries lightly and pour over baked crust. Bake for approximately 45 to 55 minutes or until center is set.





Make meringue topping Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar and vanilla extract and mix for 1 or 2 minutes until well blended. Spread over creamy rhubarb filling and bake until lightly browned - approximately 5 minutes at 350 degrees F. Top with large scoop of Tillamook Vanilla ice cream.





------------------Pi帽a Colada Cake


Moist, delicious and easy





1 box yellow cake mix


1 box instant vanilla pudding %26amp; pie filling mix


1 can Coco L贸pez Cream of Coconut


陆 cup plus 2 tablespoons Puerto Rican rum


1/3 cup cup vegetable oil


4 eggs


1 can crushed pineapple, well drained





*Garnish with any of these. . . whipped cream, pineapple slices, maraschino cherries, or and toasted coconut.





Mix the cream of coconut and rum together and set aside.





Preheat oven to 350潞. In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, 陆 the coconut cream and rum mixture, oil, and eggs. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes. Stir in the drained pineapple. Pour into a well greased and floured 10-inch bundt pan. Bake for 50-55 minutes. Cool slightly.





Using a kitchen brush brush some of the remaining cream of coconut and rum mixture on the surface of the cake (which is the bottom of the cake) before taking the cake out of the pan. Remove from pan and using a table knife, skewer, or ice pick poke holes about 1 inch apart in cake almost to bottom. Using the brush again brush the cake heavily with the remaining coconut cream and rum mixture. Brush some all around the outside of the cake and heavy on top. Chill thoroughly then garnish. Store in refrigerator.





---------------RED VELVET CAKE





1 1/2 c. sugar


2 eggs


2 1/2 c. flour


1 c. buttermilk


1 tsp. vinegar


1 tsp. vanilla


1 1/2 c. oil


1 tsp. soda


1 tsp. cocoa


1 sm. bottle red food coloring





Mix all together at once. Cook 3 layers, 30 minutes, 2 layers 40 minutes at 350 degrees.





CREAM CHEESE ICING FOR RED VELVET CAKE:





1 box powdered sugar


8 oz. cream cheese


1 stick butter


1 tsp. vanilla


1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)





Let cream cheese and butter stand at room temperature. Mix together, add sugar and vanilla. Spread.





-------------------------Boston Cream Pie Cupcakes





1 box yellow cake mix


1 box Jello vanilla pudding


1 container of cool whip


1 cup milk


4 oz semisweet chocolate





Make cupcakes according to the directions on the yellow cake mix box. Let cool and slice horizontal through the middle.


Add the 1 cup of milk to the jello pudding mix. Mix vigorously for about 2 minutes or so, and let stand for 5 minutes or so to thicken. Fold 1 cup of the cool whip into the pudding.


In a microwave, melt 4 oz of chocolate with 1/2 cup of cool whip for 1 1/2 minutes. Mix well.





Drop about a Tbsp of the pudding mixture in the middle of each cupcake. Frost the top of each cupcake with the chocolate mixture.Anybody have any good dessert recipes?

Not Yo' Mama's Banana Pudding


2 bags Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies


6 to 8 bananas, sliced


2 cups milk


1 (5-ounce) box instant French vanilla pudding


1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened


1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk


1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping thawed, or equal amount sweetened whipped cream





Line the bottom of a 13 by 9 by 2-inch dish with 1 bag of cookies and layer bananas on top.


In a bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix and blend well using a handheld electric mixer. Using another bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together and mix until smooth. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended. Pour the mixture over the cookies and bananas and cover with the remaining cookies. Refrigerate until ready to serve.





I recently made this recipe and it was a hit. Very rich but Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!

maybe some nice brownies with caramel would be nice, or a nice pie that is made with ice cream to cool everyone off...or maybe angel food cake with fresh strawberries or blue berries...or choc chip cookies with ice cream frozen in between two of them..or a sweet cinnamon cofee cake,,i love to cook and bake and your options are endless...
Apple Crisp is a crowd pleaser!





Cut up 4 apples into wedges


lay in bottom of 9 by 13 in ch pan.


Take 2 cups brown sugar, 1 TBLS cinnamon,,1 cup oat meal, and two cups butter and cut finely with pastry blender.


Sprinkle over apples.


Bake at 325 F (not 350,,,,,requires slower oven)


for 45 minutes.


Top with real whipped cream or ice cream


YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is sooooo delicious and easy to make.





Death by Chocolate


1 box chocolate cake mix


4 sm boxes of Instant Choc. pudding


4- 8-oz. cool Whip


* oreo cookies crumbs (optional)


* melted chocolate (optional)


* chopped heath bars (optional)


* chocolate chips (optional)


This really looks nice in a glass pyrex dish or a trifle bowl.


Bake cake according to directions.


and prepare pudding according to box.


When cake is cooled.


Layer as follows:


half the cake - crumbled


half the pudding ( 2 boxes prepared)


16 oz. cool whip


optional ingredients


Repeat-


* If you want you can sprinkle oreo crumbs, heath bars, and chocolate chips on the cool whip layers. On the final cool whip layer you can drizzle melted chocolate and sprinkle oreo crumbs and chocolate chips. I added oreo cookie crumbs and leftover melted chocolate in between the layers.
